Construction & commercial mediation · Houston, Texas

Your construction case is headed to mediation. The neutral should be able to read the file.

Schedule, change orders, the project record — read natively in English and Spanish by a mediator who spent twenty-five years building metro, rail and heavy-civil projects. No interpreter sits between the parties and the neutral.

Twenty-five years on the projects
Metro, rail and heavy-civil programs valued up to $2.1 billion across the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean — on the owner’s side and the builder’s.

The practice

I built these projects for twenty-five years. Now I help resolve them.

Nunez Infrastructure Advisory is a construction and commercial disputes practice in Houston, led by Jose I. Nunez Toribio, PMP, ACIArb — who holds civil and electrical engineering degrees and has spent twenty-five-plus years delivering metro, rail and heavy-civil programs across the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean.

A neutral who has run the consortium, administered the contract and managed the schedule reads a construction dispute differently from someone who has only argued about one. The work here is mediation. A separate, bounded advisory practice — claims consulting and program advisory — is described on its own pages.

Send the party and counsel names. You will hear back on conflicts before anything else is discussed.
